Kerry DeHority, CEO
Kerry has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, the
latter half focused exclusively in the technology sector. Most
recently, Kerry spent 5 years as an officer of JDS Uniphase, one
of the fastest growing fiber optic component companies in the
world. First as Vice President/Controller and later as Vice
President of Business Development, he was an instrumental member
of The Board that negotiated and integrated several
multi-billion dollar acquisitions. Prior to joining JDS
Uniphase, Kerry was the Chief Financial Officer of Enigma Logic,
where he packaged the company for a successful acquisition by
Secure Computing (Nasdaq: SCUR). Previously, he was responsible
for one of the quickest turnarounds of a technology company in
history. Kerry’s public accounting experience includes seven
years with Ernst & Young. He has successfully completed the
CPA licensing requirements in California and Virginia.
Raju Bhargava, Co-Founder
Raju previously worked at ASA Computers, where he served as Vice
President of ASA’s Networking Division and as Vice President
of Operations since 1995. Prior to working at ASA Computers,
Raju was the Assistant General Manager of Teletube Electronics,
then ranked as one of India’s 100 largest companies, where he
was responsible for development, manufacturing, and
international marketing of specialty tubes. From 1985 to 1994,
Raju was the Deputy General Manager Operations for Weston
Electronics in India, where he was responsible for their various
manufacturing facilities. Prior to Weston Electronics, Raju held
several senior Project Management positions at various high-tech
companies from 1978 to 1984, including Philips Electronics. He
holds an MBA in Finance from Delhi University, India, and a
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of
Kashmir, India.
Gita Bhargava, Co-Founder/VP Business Development
Gita has had 15 years of progressive accounting
responsibilities. She has performed and managed all accounting
functions for companies in a variety of industries, including
Aureal, a publicly traded company. Gita was Controller at both
eHome and Chipshot.com. Gita has a Bachelor’s Degree in
Economics from University of Rajasthan, India, and has received
a variety of accounting certifications from the University of
Alaska, Anchorage.
Jessee Allread, VP Sales
Jessee has been responsible for the creation, implementation,
and management of sales teams, distribution channels, contracted
representatives, and direct sales efforts for more than 23
years. Starting with Toys R Us and Autodesk, he developed
management hiring and training practices nationally, set up and
managed domestic and international indirect sales organizations,
and has worked as advisor and consultant to more than 100
companies. He has raised more than $10 million for high
technology start-up's, securing strategic, venture, angel, and
private capital. As an Advisor to Rainmaker Capital, an Investor
in Allegis Capital, and a member of International Angel
Investors, his experience and contacts in corporate and business
development has resulted in innumerable "first customer
sales".
Charles Lavine, Executive VP Marketing
Chas has over 20 years experience in Outsourcing Sales
& Management, with particular focus on Business process
Outsourcing. Most recently, Chas has been Vice President of
Business Development at an off-shore BPO firm, preceded by years
as Sales Manager for the Western United States for Affiliated
Computer Services (ACS), one of the leading BPO firms in the
world. While there he oversaw sales efforts for such verticals
as Financial Services, Mortgage, and Health Care. He was
responsible for acquisition of prospects, client development,
and led a team pursuing major contracts. Prior to ACS, Chas led
sales for the New England and Canadian regions for a Document
Management Software Company (LaserFiche), overseeing and
developing a team of VAR's, as well as leading direct sales to
major clients. Previously, he spent 14 years as Vice president
and Director of Sales for Boston Technical Corporation, one of
the first firms primarily focused on the outsourcing industry,
specializing in IT outsourcing. During his tenure he led the
growth of Boston Technical by some twenty-fold, and oversaw its
expansion into Network Management, Help Desk Outsourcing, etc.
Chas is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(MIT), and MIT's Sloan School of Management.
India Operations
Surendra Gupta, VP Indian Operations
Prior to joining Hesaab, Surendra was employed as Vice President
of Finance at a multi-national company. Prior to this, he served
as Finance and Accounting Head from 1989-2000 at Samtel Color,
the largest color TV picture tube manufacturer in India with
revenues of over Rs. 1.0 billion. Surendra has also worked at
HCL Ltd, the largest Indian information technology company, at
Paharpur Cooling Towers, at Bharat Electronics, and at
Cellulosics Consultants, where he has held various financial
management positions. He is a Chartered Accountant (the
equivalent of a U.S. CPA) and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in
Commerce from University of Delhi.
